WATER SPORTS

There are many safe beaches for swimming in the area and there are also a number of indoor swimming pools.

 

Waterworld, Kilkee - this indoor complex features a bubble pool, crystal tower 61m slide, children's play pool, shower geysers & gushers, lazy river and much more! Check out   www.kilkeewaterworld.com for further information

 

Seaworld, Lahinch - this indoor complex, situated on the beach front, features Gymworld fitness suite, a 25m swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. Children can enjoy the children's pool & Sammy Sharks soft play area. Seaworld is also home to the Atlantic Acquarium, where visitors can see and experience native sharks, rays, conger eels, flatfish and lobster. www.lahinchseaworld.com

SURFING: Doughmore Beach (5 minute walk) Spanish Point Beach (7½ mls/12km) and Lahinch Beach (16 mls/26 km) are renowned for great surfing.

EmOcean Surf Shop is situated in Waterworld in Kilkee.
White Water Surf Shop is situated in Miltown Malbay and there are three surf shops in Lahinch - the Green Rooms, Ocean Scene and Lahinch Surf Shop.
 

DIVING & WATERSPORTS: Kilkee's Dive Sites are world famous and have long been enjoyed by many divers from all over the world. The crystal clear waters of the bay have a wide reputation for the variety of dives and the diversity of marine life. The bays, cliffs and islands that surround Kilkee provide the perfect backdrop to your diving and watersports adventure.
